Revolving around the core of technology
Hello,
I am using Syncrify 3.3 build 688 with the ISP license.
I accidentally created some users on the server that have one or more spaces at the end of the email address. I believe these spaces were generated when I used copy and paste to populate the fields.
Now I cannot modify, remove, or log in as these users. If I click "Modify" on the server I get a box that says "User not found." When I click "Remove" the page refreshes but the user remains.
Now I'm in a tougher situation because in order to complete my project, I added the users again without the trailing spaces. Now whenever I click on "Modify" for the bad account, it pulls up the properties window for the good account. Presumably because the space is being trimmed off and thus ends up referencing the good account. I date not click remove on the bad accounts because I believe it delete my good accounts.
I tried adding '%20' to the command URL to pass along the space and reference the bad accounts, to no avail.
How can I remove these bogus accounts with trailing spaces in the email address field?
Thanks,
Dustin
Dustin,
Send us your $INSTALL_DIR\config\UserMappings.xml file to support@synametrics.com . We will fix it and send it back to you. You are right. It is a bug and we will fix it in the next update. Syncrify should detect this and prevent users from putting those extra spaces.
Imran.
