Running ubuntu server 11. Received the following error message on installation.
The "wrapper" file is there but the service won't start.
This is a server-only installation. No X installed. I had to download and install
"chkconfig" for the install to get this far. You might want to check for required
components before continuing.
This is a fresh install of ubuntu server, fully patched with no errors. Any errors
listed below that are not related to "Syncrify" are related to incompatibilities with
ubuntu and "chkconfig"
DESPITE THE ERROR MESSAGE - THE WRAPPER FILE *DOES* EXIST:
root@xyz:/tmp# file /opt/Syncrify/lib/wrapper
/opt/Syncrify/lib/wrapper: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV),
dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.0.30, not stripped
Here is the log for the install:
