Synametrics Technologies

We have a problem with the Tables view in that it doesn't show table indexes, Indices view is empty for every table. Triggers on the other hand are shown correctly.

We tried sync and async catalog fetch but can't get the indexes to show.  We tried it in 32-bit and 64-bit version of WinSQL Version: 18.0.285.885, edition: Professional

Database: Informix

Connection: ODBC Informix Driver 32 bit or 64 bit depending on the version of WinSQL

We previously used WinSQL 6.5.76.586 which had no problems with showing indexes:

I am sorry to learn you're having this problem. Can you please email us and send us the log files? I think WinSQL is having a problem fetching indexes. The logs may contain the actual error message. Use the following information to get to the logs folder.

• Click File/Open Data Folder
• Zip the sub-folder called "logs" into a single archive and email it to support@synametrics.com

Another suggestion is to try using a different ODBC driver. WinSQL Professional comes with an Informix WireProtocol Driver. Try using that driver to see if that changes anything.
