Download Syncrify Client
To download Syncrify Client, first connect back to the Server Machine by entering the connection URL that you used to log into the Admin Console. Assuming your server has a local IP Address of 192.168.1.52 and a public IP Address of 74.208.163.143:
http://localhost:5800 (if you are connecting from the machine where Syncrify Server is installed)
http://192.168.1.52:5800 (if you are connecting from a machine that is within your local network)
http://74.218.163.143:5800 (if you are connecting from a remote machine on the internet)
http://192.168.1.52:5800 (if you are connecting from a machine that is within your local network)
http://74.218.163.143:5800 (if you are connecting from a remote machine on the internet)
On the Quick Links sidebar at the right hand side of the screen, click the link for Download Client.
On the following page, click the link that is appropriate for your Operating System.
Installation for Windows Machine
- Unzip the downloaded file to extract setup.exe, which is the installer for Syncrify Client
- Double click setup.exe file
- Follow the instructions on the screen to install the application
- Necessary icon will be created in the Programs group.
- Double click the shortcut to run Syncrify Client
Installation for Linux
There is no installer for Syncrify client on Linux. Simply download the necessary file to the client machine and run the script.
Steps to Install on Linux:
- Download the client file
- Unzip to extract the following files
- SyncrifyClient.jar
- syncrifyClient.sh
- Use the following command to run the client
- $INSTALL_DIR/syncrifyClient.sh ($INSTALL_DIR is the directory where syncrifyClient.sh file is located)
- If you get an error saying syncrifyClient.sh is not an executable, type the following command and then try again.
chmod +x syncrifyClient.sh
Installation for Mac OS X
There is no installer for Syncrify client on Mac OS X. Simply download the necessary file to the client machine.
- After the Syncrify Client Application downloads, drag this file to the Applications folder.
- Optionally, drag this icon to your Dock for quick and easy access to the application.
