Timeout Termination
Often you may want to terminate a backup session if it takes too long.

Consider This Scenario
- You have scheduled a backup to start at 10:00 PM every night
- You want to make sure backup finishes before 7:00 AM the next morning. If not, terminate the session to avoid a heavy load on your network.
Steps
Login to the admin console and click on the 'Manage Users' tab.
Under the 'Profiles' section, click 'View' (as shown in the image below):
The section titled 'Action' contains 3 icons. Click the icon that displays 'Manage Limitations' as you hover over it.
The menu should look like this:
In reference to the scenario above, you can specify a timeout value of 540 minutes in order to forcefully terminate the Client session at the desired time. A value less than or equal to zero means no timeout. This value is set to -1 by default.
