If you are using a version higher than the public release, contact our support department and ask for a branded version of your Syncrify client. Failure to do that will cause the clients to not upgrade themselves.
No special steps are required. The client should get upgraded automatically.
With regards to Syncrify Client, all you need is to replace the existing copy of SyncrifyClient.jar with the newer version. A copy of this file can be found in SyncrifyManualUpdate.zip that you received from our support department.
We recommend you make a backup before replacing it (in case you need to rollback). This file is located in the folder where you have installed Syncrify Client. The following table shows the default location for Syncrify Client on different Operating Systems:
